About the Role Job Overview We are seeking an experienced software professional to fill a Principal Backend Engineer/Senior Software Engineer position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with expertise in C#/NET, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, and Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs). The selected individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable backend services that integrate with APIs like Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime. Key Responsibilities Design and implement efficient system architecture to ensure performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications. Write high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to software best practices. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution. Collaborate with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams to deliver projects on time. Foster a culture of security and compliance within the organization. Requirements Strong technical expertise, including design patterns, software development best practices, and principles like SOLID and Clean Code. Proficiency in C#/NET, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, and Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs). Strong understanding of MSSQL database design and optimization. Familiarity with asynchronous microservices architecture and distributed systems. Experience with modern front-end and server-side technologies such as Node.js and React.
