About the Role We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer to lead the development of innovative mobile applications with a focus on cross-platform initiatives using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Jetpack Compose. Experience with iOS development is a strong plus, as you’ll help shape our cross-platform architecture and deliver products that seamlessly operate across Android and iOS ecosystems. Key Responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain mobile applications leveraging KMP for shared business logic and Compose for modern UI design. Collaborate on cross-platform initiatives, contributing to both Android and iOS codebases when necessary. Analyze and optimize high-volume mobile systems for performance and scalability. Refactor and revitalize codebases as technology evolves. Lead development efforts for new products and enhancements to existing products in response to market changes. Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, ensuring high-quality user experiences. Work closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative features. Who You Are 5+ years of experience in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin Android Launcher experience is a strong plus Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture). Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or other cross-platform frameworks. Exposure to or experience with iOS development (Swift or Objective-C) is a strong plus. Strong architecture design skills and ability to build reusable UI components. Comfortable working on collaborative, fast-paced engineering teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and passion for innovation.
