We're Hiring: Data Engineer

We're seeking a proactive and self-driven Data Engineer who also excels in Production Support . This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is not only passionate about building data pipelines and infrastructure, but also thrives in fast-paced environments where supporting live systems and resolving issues is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems.
  • Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries and Python scripts.
  • Monitor and support production data workflows, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents or data issues, including handling support tickets and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response when needed.
  • Work closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to implement improvements in data infrastructure.
  • Maintain clear documentation for processes, data flows, and issue resolution.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation. (Will be tested)
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Solid background in Data Engineering and Production Support, i ncluding ticket management systems and real-time issue handling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
