The Role This is a high-ownership, high-velocity engineering role. As a senior full-stack engineer on our product and AI team, you’ll build new tools and experiences that give entrepreneurs real leverage — from conversational business planning to smart funding recommendations, automated documents, and personalized dashboards. You’ll work directly with the founder and a tight product/design team. No bureaucracy. No layers. Just building, shipping fast, and seeing your work used by hundreds of thousands of people. What You'll Do: Build and ship new features using modern web technologies and AI APIs. Integrate AI into user-facing flows — conversational builders, assistants, recommendations. Contribute across Skip’s product stack: React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, Postgres, Supabase. Rapidly prototype, test with real users, and iterate based on data and feedback. Work closely with product, design, and support to uncover what actually moves the needle. Help shape the architecture and UX of Skip’s AI Cofounder product. (Optional/Secondary) Explore RAG, embeddings, or personalization systems — only if interested. About You: 5+ years of engineering experience , with strong experience shipping production features. Strong with TypeScript and React/Next.js . Comfortable across the stack or eager to work full-stack. Curious about AI and excited to integrate AI capabilities into real products. Communicative, proactive, and collaborative — you’re comfortable working closely with product and design. You care about impact: you want your work to help real entrepreneurs build real businesses.
