Junior Qa Engineer

We are looking for a full-time, remote QA Engineer with 6 months to 2 years of work experience, preferably quality assurance related, to join the software engineering team of our U.S. client. The right candidate must have a passion for delivering seriously cool technology on time, utilizing industry best practices, and working in a fast-paced environment. Our client is on a mission to make people more productive by providing cloud-based document management and file sharing solutions that automate routine, repetitive tasks. They are a subsidiary of a publicly traded company that trades on the London Stock Exchange. With hundreds of thousands of users already onboard today, our client is in growth mode, developing new products to serve the U.S., the United Kingdom, and the Australian and New Zealand markets. Responsibilities Work with the Scrum Team to understand new features Translate user stories into detailed working test cases to ensure that the test scope is adequate Analyze test results to ensure correct functionality and interact with the team for the resolution of defects Ensure complete testing-related documentation (e.G., JIRA and Confluence pages) Participate in software releases Work on all team tasks independently with minimal need for oversight, as well as display a willingness to ask questions when needed to remain efficient Exercise a bias towards action but understand when to pause and reflect Take pride and interest in your work Required Experience Excellent English communication and collaboration skills 6 months to 2 years of work experience Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university OR relevant work experience instead of a degree Working knowledge of Agile development practices Proficient in learning technology quickly High attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office-type tools (e.G., Excel and Word) Ability to logically break down various testing paths to cover all possible scenarios Preferred Experience (Not required) General quality assurance experience JavaScript development experience Performance testing experience Selenium, Postman, or Nightwatch experience AWS knowledge and experience Azure VM experience Working knowledge of SQL Additional Information Know that your ideas are heard and matter think big Own your job and be recognized for your contributions Work with smart, creative people Making mistakes is human.
