As a professional video editor, you will play a vital role in shaping the ever-growing sports media landscape. To excel in this role, you'll need advanced English language skills and at least 2-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably with podcast or interview-style content. Familiarity with industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools is essential. Responsibilities will include editing audio and video for various formats, ensuring high-quality color correction, synchronization, and sound enhancement. You'll also be tasked with adding intro/outro music, sound effects, and transitions to create a polished final product. Key deliverables will include: Edit audio and video for podcasts, YouTube videos, advertisements, and branded content Ensure audio clarity, correct sync issues, and enhance sound quality with noise reduction, EQ, and other techniques Add dynamic motion graphics, lower thirds, captions, and animations to enhance viewer experience As a collaborative team member, you'll work closely with hosts, producers, and social media managers to align on styles, themes, key messages, and desired tone. A strong understanding of sound design, color correction, and high-level motion graphics/animations is necessary for success in this role. In addition to your technical skills, excellent attention to detail and quality control are crucial in all aspects of editing. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams are also essential. A portfolio of video editing work demonstrating your expertise is required.
