Job Opportunity: Backend Developer We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient backend systems. Main Responsibilities: Solid hands-on experience developing backend applications using Java (JDK 8+) and Spring Boot frameworks. Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) including basic query tuning. Experience building RESTful APIs and working within a microservices-based environment. Familiarity with database indexing, query optimization, caching tools (Redis, Memcached), and basic JVM tuning. Understanding of cloud environments (preferably Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of authentication standards (OAuth, JWT), encryption basics, and secure coding guidelines. Ability to work collaboratively with Development, Operations, and QA teams. Strong experience with Git commands (clone, commit, push, pull, branching) and working with GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket repositories. Requirements: Advanced/Fluent English - Required. Brazilian Time (BRT) from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. This schedule was chosen to allow for more hours of interaction with the team working in Central European Time (CET). ]]>
