Casting Coordinator Job Role As a key team member, the Casting Coordinator will play a pivotal role in identifying and sourcing emerging talent across social media platforms. This involves staying on top of trends, utilizing strong communication skills in English, and leveraging various casting resources. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency with multiple casting resources and be familiar with popular social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitch. They should also have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in casting, story production, or talent interviewing is required. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate high attention to detail, be organized, self-motivated, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Source and identify emerging talent across social media platforms, prioritizing current trends. Coordinate with the creative team to develop post-casting calls aligned with new and ongoing productions. Screen, organize, and categorize auditions, ensuring timely submissions for producer review. Collaborate with Performance Managers to validate talent profiles, negotiate terms, and synchronize schedules. Manage the talent booking process, maintaining accurate records and updated talent profiles within a robust database. Produce and direct assigned content episodes, adhering to strategy, budget, and creative goals. Host episodes on YouTube, presenting oneself confidently as an interviewer. Build lasting relationships with talent to foster positive creative collaborations and ensure seamless productions. Monitor deadlines, legal requirements, and production specifications for timely delivery.
