Cubbo is on a mission to become the #1 eCommerce fulfillment platform in Latin America. We are a technology-based startup, which started operations in early 2021, currently we operate in two countries: México and Brazil. We're building the largest urban warehouse fulfillment network throughout LatAm, which allows us to be the only solution in the region to be able to do same-day fulfillment. Cubbo's software is fully integrated with e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, V-TEX, Mercado Libre and many more.

The Senior Accountant will be part of our financial team and will focus on managing receivables with accountants both in Brazil and Mexico. You will report to the FP&A specialist and the CEO who co-leads this department. You should be comfortable with financial modeling, and maintaining contact with teams from different countries. You will also play an integral role in managing balance sheets and cash flow.

We expect you to take ownership and be able to execute your activities, defining the best process for Cubbo. We're looking for candidates who raise the level of our teams. YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

  • Manage the accounts receivable process for our Brasil operation, overseeing invoicing and collections with accountant teams
  • Communicate transparently both internally and externally
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable
  • Track and forecast cash flow from receivables, identifying trends and potential issues
  • Work closely with other finance team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective financial operations
  • Prepare detailed financial reports on receivables status, aging, and collection performance

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • +3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
  • Experience managing accounts receivables
  • Quick thinker, must be able to handle questions on the fly
  • Experience in supply chain, warehouse distribution and/or logistics knowledge is preferred 
  • Growth mindset and comfort with change
  • Strong communication and team building skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Full professional English proficiency (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of tax implications in warehouse distribution and/or logistics is a plus

Where you'll work

We are a remote-first company, but the perfect candidate will live in the São Paulo area, as you’ll be expected to come into the warehouse occasionally to spend time with the team.
