Role Overview

Confrapar is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Private Equity Analyst to join our investment team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the entire investment process, from sourcing and evaluating potential investments to managing portfolio companies post-investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment Analysis: Conduct detailed financial modeling, company valuation, and risk analysis for potential investments.
  • Due Diligence: Participate in the due diligence process, including gathering financial and operational data, and conducting industry research.
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and sector-specific dynamics to identify investment opportunities.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in monitoring the performance of portfolio companies, including financial reporting, and providing strategic recommendations.
  • Deal Execution: Support the deal execution process, from drafting investment memos to assisting in negotiations and closing transactions.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing key findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for Finance: Strong interest in private equity, technology and the broader financial markets.
