Job Overview The Financial Risk Strategist plays a critical role in developing and maintaining a comprehensive risk management framework across the organization. This encompasses credit, market, liquidity, operational, and technology risks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting prudential and capital risk assessments, preparing regulatory disclosures, and leading margin-account operations. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide risk management framework that aligns with regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough risk assessments, including stress testing, scenario analysis, capital adequacy evaluations, and other regulatory-mandated reviews. Prepare, validate, and support all regulatory disclosures required of financial institutions and virtual asset service providers (VASPs). Requirements Must be legally residing in Brazil. Minimum 7 years of senior-level experience in financial or prudential risk management. Demonstrated independence from commercial functions and proven capability operating as a second-line or independent control function. Strong command of Central Bank of Brazil risk regulations and prudential rules. Expertise in market and liquidity risk frameworks, stress testing, scenario modeling, and margin-account governance involving virtual assets.
