Job Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to contribute to the design, development, and manufacturing of world-class rail products and services by applying specialized knowledge, skills, and competencies. The role also involves ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet established quality standards and requirements.

Detailed Tasks:

• Interpret customer requirements and specifications, reviewing or developing new engineering procedures to ensure compliance.

• Audit established engineering procedures and quality systems to ensure compliance.

• Implement and maintain a continuous improvement program.

• Assist auditors and inspectors from customers and third parties.

• Maintain an inspection program to ensure engineering results meet requirements.

• Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analyses.

• Assist in defining the necessary quality metrics for the department and the team.

• Submit detailed reports to relevant executives and department heads.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in technical areas. Engineering courses and related fields.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a quality engineer in an ISO-certified company.

• Availability for travel and external work as needed.

• Proficiency in MS Office, statistical software, and databases.

• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection practices, and audits.

• Expertise in planning, executing tests, and validation.

Desired Technical Knowledge:

• Understanding of RAMS standards (e.g., EN 50126).

• Solid training in statistics with proven application.

• Previous experience in railway operations or with suppliers in the United States.

Language:

Advanced English (mandatory)/fluent (desirable). The employee will report to a manager of another nationality.
