Job Description You will collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand requirements for machine learning features. You will design, implement, maintain, improve, and document backend systems for machine learning features. As a key member of the team, you will manage and optimize databases for application storage, ensuring high performance and reliability. Your expertise in distributed, async workloads will enable you to improve observability and reliability through structured logging, metrics, retry/backoff strategies, and traces. You will help maintain and orchestrate containerized development workflows, including Docker , Kubernetes , and CI checks, raising the bar for testing (unit + integration) to ensure high code quality and reliability. Additionally, you will enhance the local development experience by establishing and promoting Python-based development standards and best practices. Furthermore, you will integrate and optimize calls to large language model APIs and agentic frameworks, and mentor other engineers and drive architectural decisions.
