Arke is actively searching for a seasoned Senior Front-End Developer in Brazil, either CLT or PJ. This individual will work closely with our Brazil Country Head to lead and mentor a team of front-end developers while driving the development of high-quality, user-centric web applications. As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will play a pivotal role in translating complex business and technical requirements into functional, visually appealing, and responsive web applications.

We are looking for someone with deep expertise in modern web technologies, a passion for staying on the cutting edge of digital innovation, and a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable front-end solutions. If you are a tech-savvy professional who excels in a leadership role and is passionate about creating top-notch user experiences, this position is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers, providing guidance on best practices, code quality, and project workflows.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to translate business and technical requirements into functional, high-performance web applications.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance applications using modern frameworks and tools, with a focus on React.js and Next.js.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Contribute to the production of client deliverables, including documentation, development, and testing.
  • Produce working prototypes that explore new approaches to UI design.
  • Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility for web applications.
  • Work with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
  • Foster trusted partnerships with coworkers and clients, maintaining positive and productive working relationships with stakeholders, peers, and leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the front-end team, staying ahead of industry trends and incorporating new technologies as appropriate.

What We'd Love to See

  • Proven work experience as a Senior Front-End Developer, with a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically with React.js and Next.js.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
  • Proficient with Git workflows, branch strategies, and modern development practices.
  • Familiarity with browser testing, debugging, and performance optimization techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process, from design to deployment.
  • Strong understanding of layout aesthetics and knowledge of SEO principles.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide less experienced developers.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and clients to produce optimal solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve technical problems and implement efficient solutions.
  • Reliability and dependability, consistently meeting deadlines and commitments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with additional front-end frameworks such as Vue or Angular.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Suite and Photoshop, as well as content management systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
