Job Description We are seeking a Podcast Producer to oversee the entire production process of our weekly interview podcast, Sofia Unfiltered. The ideal candidate will have experience with guest communication, scheduling, and project management from pre-production through publishing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all communication with guests, scheduling interviews, sending confirmations/reminders, and providing prep materials. They will also collect bios, headshots, books, links, and required release forms, draft guest outreach emails, and pitch new guests aligned with upcoming content themes. Main Responsibilities: Prepare episode briefs and host prep sheets Attend live recordings (optional but preferred) to track timestamps and notes Review raw audio/video and provide clear, detailed edit notes to the editor Restructure episodes when needed for clarity, flow, and narrative arc Collaborate on episode titles, angles, hooks, and story direction Choose main promotional clips and quotes for social content Ensure the final episode reflects brand voice, pacing, clarity, and guest experience Requirements Experience: 2+ years as a Podcast Producer, Podcast Manager, or similar role Skills: strong writing and communication skills, ability to review episodes and give editorial direction, experience managing guests and scheduling interviews, familiarity with publishing platforms, strong organizational skills, and comfort coordinating social media assets Benefits Opportunity to work on a weekly interview podcast Chance to collaborate with guests and other team members Experience in project management and coordination
