Job Title: Documentation Specialist Overview We are seeking a skilled Documentation Specialist to create high-quality documentation for our datasets and APIs. This role requires strong technical writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. You will work closely with developers, data engineers, and product teams to ensure consistency, clarity, and usability across all documentation. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain clear, accurate, and structured documentation for financial APIs, datasets, and schemas. Create detailed descriptions of datasets, fields, parameters, and references with consistent terminology. Explain complex financial concepts (market data, instruments, indicators) in simple, client-friendly language. Provide usage examples (sample queries, API calls, JSON responses) for APIs and datasets. Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product managers to gather technical details. Define and enforce documentation standards, style guides, and consistency across products. Continuously improve documentation based on feedback from clients and internal teams. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: Proven experience as a Technical Writer or related role. Strong understanding of APIs, datasets, data models, and JSON structures. Background in finance or trading, with knowledge of instruments, market data, or financial reporting. Excellent written English with the ability to simplify complex technical and financial concepts. Ability to structure and organize large sets of documentation logically and consistently. Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data, QA).
