Job Overview Key to the development of innovative fintech platforms is a robust cloud infrastructure that enables high-scale financial transactions. Responsibilities: Design and Implementation : Develop scalable, resilient cloud platform components using industry-standard tools such as AWS. Infrastructure as Code : Utilize Terraform to create modular, reusable architectures for optimal efficiency. AWS Environment Setup : Establish secure multi-account environments adhering to Well-Architected principles. Internal Platform Development : Create automation scripts, templates, and golden paths to streamline processes. Support and Maintenance : Provide assistance for EKS/Kubernetes environments and microservice deployment foundations. Event-Driven Architecture Event Streaming : Design and support Kafka-based event streaming and messaging capabilities. Reliability and Idempotence : Ensure high availability, reliability, and idempotent service patterns across distributed systems. Infrastructure Definition : Collaborate with engineers to define infrastructure for real-time systems. Observability, Reliability & Performance Monitoring and Alerting : Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms (Datadog/Grafana/ELK) for proactive issue resolution. SLAs/SLOs : Guarantee adherence to SLAs/SLOs for platform components. Disaster Recovery : Contribute to disaster recovery design, multi-region readiness, and resilience testing. Security, Governance & Compliance IAM and Security : Enforce best practices for IAM, secrets management, encryption, and network security. Automated Compliance : Build guardrails, policies, and automated compliance into CI/CD and IaC workflows. Platform Risk Assessments : Participate in platform risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Collaboration & Technical Leadership Collaboration : Partner with architects, platform leads, and product teams to translate requirements into technical designs. Mentorship : Mentor engineers in IaC, automation, and platform engineering patterns.
