Role Description

We're building a suite of web apps for Zaros, a novel DeFi protocol, and DAO that empowers the creation of interoperable derivatives markets. You will be working on a small team of talented engineers disrupting web3, shipping secure and well-tested code which will handle a large volume of transactions. We're looking for someone creative and passionate about the web3 world that will join us in this mission to become the liquidity layer for on-chain derivatives and help onboard the next billion users in DeFi.

About Zaros Labs

Zaros Labs is a liquidity hub for on-chain derivatives focused on bringing real yield for LSTs holders, capital efficiency, and deep liquidity. We are core contributors to the upcoming Zaros DAO. We have a strong culture of independence with our team, preferring candidates who can articulate their own vision and goals. We operate remotely and have an office in Brazil, with flexible schedule and hours. In the end all that matters shipping high-quality, secure, and well-tested code. We hire based on people’s abilities to adapt and change quickly, valuing underlying core abilities above specific skill sets.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the entire development lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
  • Write clear and clean code to develop APIs
  • Write tests
  • Research and analysis of the application, modules and libraries
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate the services
  • Deploy applications locally and in a development environment using modern tools

Nice-to-have Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge with subgraph/graphql
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Experience using Rust or Golang
  • Knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi)
  • English communication skills at level B2+

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years using Typescript and NodeJS
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Experience with SOLID
  • Knowledge in architecture
  • English communication skills at level B1+
  • Good communication and relationship with others members
