Our client is in a process of significant growth and innovation, so the ideal candidate must have the ability to adapt, experience with robust operations, and the facility to work in the strategic environment and ensure its execution at the top. In addition to the technical requirements, given the current scenario, the ability to integrate, engage and lead people will be essential for the new leader's success.

  • The professional will lead the Purchasing area, but given the need for a more integrated perspective of the chain, a broad vision of the Supply Chain will be necessary.
  • Efficient Purchasing Management: Focus on the efficiency of purchasing processes, seeking the best strategy in the short, medium and long term. This includes ensuring compliance, safety and reliability of processes.
  • Leadership by Example: As a leader, you must be a model of situational management, inspiring the team to achieve the proposed objectives. As well as contributing to the individual training of those they lead.
  • Relationship with All Areas: Collaborate with other areas of the company to improve procurement processes and influence supplier control and management.
  • Internal Customer Experience: Improving the experience of internal colleagues, making it easier, more practical and more effective.
  • Location: on-site work in Minas Gerais (presencial, MG)

Responsibilities

  • People management, direct team development and situational leadership;
  • Efficiency, process automation and implementation of market tools;
  • Searching for and encouraging the team to apply the Strategic Sourcing methodology, looking for supply alternatives and developing products and services in conjunction with the requesting areas;
  • Participation in major negotiations with suppliers, guaranteeing the company's strategy;
  • Relations with internal customers to improve their experience;
  • Developing projects and challenging the team to find alternatives to improve the area's indicators and performance;
  • Leading the area's budget and forecast processes;
  • Approval of sourcing processes, BID, orders, etc. in a complete manner and guaranteeing the best for the company (compliance, security, etc.).

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a People Manager;
  • Solid leadership skills and proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to make strategic and high-impact decisions;
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills;
  • Experience in organizations with relevant complexity.
  • Advanced English.
