Job Title: Carbon Specialist About the Role: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our efforts in carbon management and climate solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in carbon management or climate solutions. Main Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive carbon strategy, including corporate carbon accounting and emissions measurement. Oversee product carbon footprint assessments and develop methodologies for measuring and verifying carbon footprints. Design and support client-focused carbon services, including carbon footprint assessments and decarbonization pathways. Collaborate with commercial teams to integrate carbon-related value propositions into customer offerings. Required Skills and Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, data science, quantitative agronomy, or similar fields. In-depth knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies (GHG Protocol, IPCC Guidelines, SBTi). Strong expertise in carbon project development and financing. Experience with carbon verification and certification processes (Gold Standard, Verra, etc.). Familiarity with climate-smart agriculture and regenerative farming practices.
