As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining scalable, reliable systems that drive innovation in cutting-edge rail technology solutions. A self-motivated individual with a solid background in cloud technologies is required to balance speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness in meeting both customer and business needs. Main Responsibilities: Maintain and develop new features for Ruby on Rails web applications used for software and model simulation management Maintain and enhance ETL, web, and API systems Ensure systems are highly available, scalable, and performant Work with Amazon AWS services to deploy, monitor, and manage systems Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments Optimize system performance and ensure security standards are met Document design, implementation, and operation of systems Architect and maintain front-end web applications Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field Advanced English language skills Experience maintaining and developing new features in Ruby on Rails web applications Experience in backend development with modern programming languages such as Python Proven experience with ETL systems and API microservices development Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing Experience building and deploying high-quality front-end web applications in Angular/Vue, React
