Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer with expertise in event-driven architectures to build and operate large-scale, real-time data platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems using Java/Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and Apache Flink. Lead the development of event-driven microservices using Java/Spring Boot, with Kafka as the primary messaging backbone. Collaborate closely with solution architects, platform engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and production-ready deployments across the Kafka + Flink + microservices ecosystem. Own performance, reliability, and scalability in production through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, cluster tuning, backpressure mitigation, checkpoint/savepoint management, and horizontal scaling strategies. Enforce security and compliance standards across all data pipelines, including encryption (in-flight/at-rest), RBAC, auditing, data masking, and secure schema evolution. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in Java backend development. Strong, hands-on experience with Spring Boot microservices in production. Deep expertise in Apache Kafka.
