Senior Project Manager Software Development

As a software development project manager for payment terminals and embedded media in Latin America, you will play a vital role in driving this mission forward. Rapid understanding and development of new functions in the payment software platform, DFS embedded media products will be your top priority. You will represent stakeholders during the project and monitor projects with customers (internal and/or external) to ensure seamless collaboration and successful outcomes. You will organize and plan the product backlog, conducting meetings with stakeholders to prioritize items to be developed whenever necessary. Your responsibility will also include setting goals, prioritizing quality, and approving value-added decisions that maximize team performance and customer satisfaction. The agile management principles followed by the team will be maintained by you, supporting Scrum processes with the team (daily, planning, review, and retrospective), Kanban, and other applicable methods. Additionally, you will assist commercial teams in presenting existing or new products, understanding new demands, and generating commercial proposals for specific new projects or improvements in existing ones. Prepare reports so that everyone is aligned on the status of developments, according to the processes and frameworks used by DFS for project management and new product development. Coordinate SW releases to the field and provide support afterwards. Train internal and external support teams, as well as manufacturing areas in new products or versions that generate significant changes. Create, maintain, and disseminate KPIs of the area. Promote innovation, review, and continuous improvement of team processes seeking process improvements, reduction of operating costs, and maintenance of systems. Maintain documentation and assist in implementing processes that support manufacturing, testing, and quality control of equipment involving our software/hardware solutions. Monitor and support internal and external audit processes (ISO). Skillset Fluent English and Spanish; Programming language: C# and XML; Knowledge of cryptography; Device connection (TCP, Serial, etc); Knowledge of network (wired, wireless, routers, etc.); Domain in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
