Job Summary The IT Business/Functional Analyst is a pivotal role in translating business needs into effective technological solutions. This position requires collaboration with business users, developers, and project managers to deliver technology solutions that enhance business processes and improve efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements to create detailed functional specifications for the development team. Collaborate with developers and system architects to design solutions that meet business needs. Foster effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization. IDentify and mitigate risks in technology projects. Develop comprehensive user documentation and training materials. Requirements Essential Requirements (Hard Skills): Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a business or functional analyst in an IT environment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Languages: Advanced English and/or French skills are required. Tools and Abilities: Proficiency in business analytics tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio. Experience with project management software such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, and Asana. Knowledge in SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and CRM systems such as Salesforce. Soft Skills: Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead project activities. Leadership: Proven experience in project and team management, with the ability to mentor junior team members. Differentials (Nice to Have): Education: A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMP (Project Management Professional), or Certified ScrumMaster are beneficial. Knowledge: Experience in specific industries such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing is valuable. Advanced programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C# are also advantageous.]]>
