Job Summary: As a key player in our team, you will participate in regular project meetings to discuss and resolve site-specific model issues. You will also be responsible for visiting customers to communicate on model technical issues and participating in technical exchange meetings with power grid companies/customers. A strong collaboration with internal teams is expected to propose solutions to control system and modelling problems. Your testing responsibilities include validating new products against regional grid code requirements through simulation models and related manuals for new energy grid-connected related equipment. You will work closely with the model development and HIL testing teams to validate new products against regional grid code requirements. An understanding of new grid code and product requirements emerging in the relevant region is essential for this role. Collection and analysis of technical data of competing products, sorting out and analyzing models, simulation reports, etc. are also crucial tasks. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering or a related field is required. Strong English technical communication skills and document writing skills are must-haves. Detailed knowledge of DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSCAD for power system simulation and modeling is necessary. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, etc. is expected. Experience with control system design of wind, solar, or storage converters and grid-connected modeling and delivery, both domestically and internationally, is highly preferred. Experience with EMTP-RV and ANATEM is an added advantage.
