Job Overview Avenue Code is a leading software consultancy focused on delivering end-to-end development solutions for digital transformation across every vertical. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to various initiatives, provide feedback through code reviews and pairing, and have input into design and architectural decisions that will shape the future of our software systems. You will develop using interesting technologies, mentor, participate in code reviews, and pair up with a team member to work together on features. The ideal candidate should have at least 7+ years of web application development experience, a track record of shipping consumer or business-facing products, and experience in writing reliable and maintainable code. Additionally, the candidate should be passionate about testing practices and continuous improvement, familiar with common programming tools, and possess strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, GraphQL, building microservices, eCommerce platforms, and working with a CMS.
