Job Title Project Overview: The main goal of the project is to modernize, maintain and develop an eCommerce platform for a big retail company serving millions of customers weekly. Solutions are delivered by several Product Teams focused on different domains: Customer, Loyalty, Search and Browse, Data Integration, Cart. Current top priorities are new brands onboarding, re-architecture, database migrations and migration of microservices to a cloud-native solution without disrupting business. Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Java Developer who can help with migrating client platforms: Quickly onboard to customer processes Develop new features in Java and Kotlin for Spring Boot Microservices, as well as maintain existing ones Improve Personalized Search Modernize Data Ingestion for faster searching and indexing Ensure Cloud Readiness and integration of Azure APIM and Gateway Collaborate with other teams and clients to find the best solutions Mandatory Skills and Qualifications Requirements include at least 5 years' work experience including front-end and back-end experience. You should have strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin language, Spring/SpringBoot, JavaScript, databases (SQL/PostgreSQL), serving static web assets, U/UX design, enterprise application architecture patterns, distributed systems, microservice architecture patterns, Containers and Orchestration Systems (Kubernetes/PKS/OpenShift) and Agile and DevOps culture. Language Requirements English skills should be B2 Upper Intermediate level.
