Job Summary :
Position Description
This is a full-time fully remote working opportunity where you will be working as part of a Scrum team which requires working closely with other quality assurance engineers, software engineers, stakeholders, contributors on the project. Working with respect to the US timezone is a requirement for the position. Attending meetings, being actively involved in the decision-making process and collaborating with all of these stakeholders are essential parts of this position.
Responsibilities
- Clear understanding of test case creation and structuring
- Work closely with other Quality Assurance Engineers and Software Developers to discuss the proper testing process
- Development of automated scripts as per ticket request
- Analysis of test results
- Adaptation of scripts to the latest features
- Identifying quality issues
- Execution of available regression scripts
- Brainstorming of ideas to improve automated test procedures
- Submission of code via GitHub
- Adapt to new testing technologies and requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced level of written and oral English proficiency
- Experience in Java, Python, Bash/Shell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Git
- Strong knowledge of Selenium and Cucumber frameworks
- Experience with testing web/mobile applications and services
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Comfortable working with JIRA, Postman, GitHub and/or similar tools
- Understanding of Agile development principles
