Job Title: Lead Data Architect We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Architect to provide technical direction and mentorship to our team of data engineers. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of leading data projects or teams. A strong programming skill set in Python is required, as well as expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines. Key requirements include extensive experience with Snowflake or equivalent data warehouses, knowledge of orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, and a deep understanding of messaging queues such as Kafka, AWS SQS, or similar technologies for real-time data ingestion and processing. The selected candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable data solutions handling terabytes of data, managing and optimizing data lakes using Apache Iceberg, and deploying and managing distributed systems using containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Key qualifications include a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, deployment strategies, and automated testing, as well as proven experience working in an Agile development environment and managing cross-functional team interactions. Preferred skills include proficiency in stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink for real-time analytics, familiarity with programming languages like Scala or Java, and exposure to integrating data pipelines with machine learning workflows. Leadership skills are also essential, including the ability to lead and mentor data engineering teams, promote collaboration, and articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.]]>
