Job Overview We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Director to lead our Quality Assurance team in building and implementing a world-class quality control system. About the Role This role requires exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing high-performing teams of 20+ employees. You will be responsible for developing and implementing processes from scratch, ensuring strict compliance with regulations and SOPs. A strong understanding of automation and quality monitoring is essential, along with the ability to write clear requirements for developers. The ideal candidate should have experience working with CRM systems, monitoring dashboards, and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring and onboarding new team members, creating structured training programs, and certifying assistants before they start working with clients. Key Responsibilities BUILD A WORLD-CLASS QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM FROM SCRATCH (30%): Design and implement a comprehensive quality assurance system, including regular audits, spot-checks, and KPI tracking. HIRE AND ONBOARD NEW TEAM MEMBERS (25%): Develop a hiring funnel, design a structured onboarding program, and certify assistants before they start working with clients. AUTOMATE QUALITY CHECKS (20%): Collaborate with the engineering team to identify which checks can be automated, create clear requirements, and test and launch automation tools. TACKLE BOTTlenecks AND IMPROVE PROCESSES (10%): Continuously identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, maintain operations documentation, and address client complaints. MOTIVATE AND GROW THE TEAM (15%): Foster a positive team culture, provide coaching and mentoring, promote top performers, and develop internal career paths. Requirements MUST-HAVE: 2+ years of experience managing operational teams, preferably in BPO/outsourcing/call center/EdTech. STRONG SYSTEMS THINKING AND DISCIPLINE: Experience building processes from scratch, precision, attention to detail, and the ability to make difficult decisions. TECHNICAL COMPETENCY: Strong understanding of automation & quality monitoring, ability to write clear requirements for developers, and experience with CRM systems. ANALYTICAL APPROACH: Experience with metrics: quality %, speed, productivity, error rate, and data-driven decision-making. EXPERIENCE IN HIRING & ONBOARDING: Strong hiring and onboarding skills, with experience creating structured training programs and certifying assistants. STRENGTHS: BPO/outsourcing experience, quality automation experience, technical degree (engineering / CS / math), Six Sigma/Lean/Kaizen knowledge, QA/Quality Management certifications, and experience with distributed remote teams.
