About the Role Cubbo is a tech-driven platform that empowers businesses to grow by reducing costs and increasing customer loyalty. This role is for an Engineering Manager located in São Paulo, Brazil. The successful candidate will oversee engineering projects, manage software development processes, and lead a team of engineers. Day-to-day tasks include project management, integrating various systems, and ensuring seamless collaboration among team members. Key Responsibilities: Lead the use of AI-coding tools. Manage the engineering team (hiring, mentoring, performance reviews, team culture). Drive execution of the product roadmap in collaboration with product and design teams. Establish high engineering standards: code quality, testing, security, and scalability. Foster a strong agile culture and own team ceremonies. Partner with leadership to balance speed vs. quality trade-offs. What Success Looks Like Team Growth & Leadership – Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of engineers in São Paulo. Delivery Excellence – Ensure the team consistently delivers product increments on time with high quality. System Reliability – Improve uptime and reduce critical incidents. Scalable Architecture – Partner with leadership to define and deliver a roadmap that scales our platform. Engineering Processes – Implement effective agile practices, code review standards, and CI/CD pipelines.
