Backend Developer Role Overview The backend developer role involves working on the development of headend applications in the media domain. Developing backend services using Java and Golang programming languages. Implementing APIs and integrating event-driven systems to support business operations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile development and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Supporting operational tasks, troubleshooting issues, and resolving technical problems. Mandatory Skills Required skills include experience in Java and Golang development, knowledge of microservices architecture, API design principles, and familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda and S3. Additionally, a basic understanding of Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Desirable skills include Python scripting and exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases. While not mandatory, these skills can enhance the candidate's ability to contribute to the team.
