Cloud Data Specialist The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering with expertise in AWS services, specifically API Gateway, Lambda/Fargate, S3, Glue, and CloudWatch. In addition to this technical knowledge, the successful applicant should have proficiency in PySpark, including partitioning, joins, and optimization techniques. They should also be familiar with Glue Data Catalog, Athena, REST APIs, Terraform or CloudFormation, Git, CI/CD, columnar and table formats, and data quality tools. This role requires the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient APIs using AWS API Gateway, implement integrations with Lambda or Fargate, develop processing pipelines in PySpark, manage data in S3 and Glue Data Catalog, ensure data quality and integrity, optimize pipeline costs and performance, and create technical documentation that is clear and concise. About this Role: Create robust and scalable data processing pipelines using PySpark. Design and develop APIs using AWS API Gateway. Implement data integration solutions using Lambda or Fargate. Maintain data quality and integrity by ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Optimize pipeline costs and performance through continuous monitoring and improvement. Develop and maintain technical documentation for data engineering projects.
