Job Description This IT Support role involves providing on-site technical assistance covering various aspects of the company's infrastructure, including IT hardware, networking, data center operations, and voice over internet protocol (VOIP) phone troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and support of network devices such as switches, routers, wireless access points, and servers to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations Troubleshooting VOIP phones and managing server tasks, with an emphasis on adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) Monitoring system health, patching phone ports, and ensuring proper functioning of Avaya VOIP phones and other equipment Fiber link troubleshooting between switches and communication with remote technical teams Switch chassis blade replacement and maintenance of data center infrastructure management applications Regular visual checks of IDF rooms for cooling and power status, as well as PDU health and UPS alarms monitoring Knowledge of ITSM tools, operating systems, networks, storage devices, and backup technologies Requirements: Basic knowledge of CISCO, Riverbed network devices and assigning switch ports to specific VLANs Patch phone ports to switch as needed, troubleshoot issues with fiber links between switches, and visualize errors for effective communication Good understanding of Data Center Infrastructure Management Application and periodic visual check of IDF rooms for cooling and power status Networking and Operating System basics, knowledge of Monitoring tools like Solarwinds, and experience in SLA based environment Basic knowledge about Hardware like Servers, Storage devices, Knowledge to understand Monitoring Tool outcome, and Basic knowledge of ITSM tool preferably ServiceNow Knowledge of Backup technologies preferably EMC Avamar, and experience in Server Performance monitoring Benefits: Ongoing training and professional development opportunities A collaborative and dynamic work environment Opportunities for career advancement within the company
