Overview:

Our client needs a skilled Software Engineer to help manage backlogs across multiple teams. This is an independent role requiring flexibility and adaptability to support various software managers. The ideal candidate must be available for all scheduled and impromptu meetings during working hours, with the camera on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple software teams in managing and clearing backlogs.
  • Collaborate with 2-3 different software managers to meet client needs.
  • Attend and actively participate in all meetings (scheduled and impromptu) during working hours.
  • Develop, test, and deploy code using advanced Typescript skills in a Node environment.
  • Utilize AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, EventBridge) effectively.
  • Interact with AWS via the console and command line.
  • Employ SST (Serverless Stack) for serverless application development.
  • Conduct automated testing using Vitest (or Jest).
  • Work with databases extensively, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Develop user interfaces with React.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Bilingual English/Portuguese (Full Professional Level)
  • Advanced Typescript skills in a Node environment.
  • Extensive experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, EventBridge).
  • Proficiency with SST (Serverless Stack).
  • Experience with AWS console and command line interactions.
  • Proficient in automated testing with Vitest (or Jest).
  • Deep experience working with databases.
  • Proficient in GitHub.
  • Familiarity with VS Code.
  • React UI development experience.
  • Experience using graph databases, with a preference for Neo4j.
  • Ability to understand and write complex Cypher queries.
  • Experience working in a "test first" environment.
