**East River Digital is looking for a Content Moderator to join the team.**

**Content Moderator**

The Content Moderator is a key professional responsible for maintaining the safety and integrity of content displayed on a platform with a global reach, present in multiple cities worldwide. This role involves monitoring and reviewing ad content, ensuring it aligns with community guidelines and standards, and removing any harmful material before it reaches users.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Ensure the legal compliance and safety of ads published on the platform, following specific guidelines.

- Develop and continuously improve content safety and management standards.

- Identify opportunities for improvement in moderation strategies, keeping the platform a safe and welcoming environment.

**Required Skills and Competencies:**

- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to spot important nuances in content.

- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure accuracy in interactions and analyses.

- Adaptability and willingness to work in shifts.

- Interest in and familiarity with short video platforms and social media.

**Preferred Qualifications and Experience:**

- High school diploma, with a preference for candidates pursuing higher education.

- English proficiency is an advantage, given the exposure to global guidelines.

- Experience in BPO environments, call centers, or customer service, with knowledge of content regulation and moderation.

- Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of regional and global issues, with the ability to handle diverse content.
