This individual will be responsible for architecting the platform, defining integration points, and designing scalable, secure solutions based on incoming enterprise requirements using our data platform. They will participate in architecture review boards and ensure that all implementations align with our design principles. Design and evolve the end-to-end data platform: across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments based on customer requirements and limitations. Develop and designate integration points: for data services, pipelines, orchestration, governance, and security layers. Translate solution requests and business requirements: into scalable, compliant architecture blueprints. Participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARBs): to align deployments with enterprise standards. The ideal candidate should have 8-12 years of experience designing or implementing large-scale distributed data platforms in regulated industries. A proven track record as a technical architect or lead engineer at similar open-source platform providers is required. Hands-on experience integrating and operating open-source data tools across hybrid-cloud and containerized environments is also necessary. Strong understanding of enterprise governance and security frameworks (SOX, FFIEC, GDPR) is essential. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence architecture decisions across engineering teams are required.
