This role in Summary
The Senior Innovation Engineer will be within the Advanced Development and Innovation Team. This role will be responsible for the development and feasibility of Refrigeration advanced innovation projects.

The Refrigeration Innovation Analyst Engineer will be within the Advanced Development and Innovation Team. This role will be responsible for the development and feasibility of Refrigeration advanced innovation projects.
Your Responsibilities will include
Develop new technologies and/or apply technologies in a novel approach for Refrigeration or Cooking products based on Design Thinking and Lean Start-up
Work together with a cross-functional team (consumer insights, marketing, design) to identify unmet consumer needs and translate them into product/technology opportunities
Create multiple concepts and progress to Proof of Concept prototypes and engineering specifications that address the Voice of Consumer
Drive technical feasibility assessment and the evaluation of project and technology proposals
Part of a cross functional team to progress new technology development towards scalable solutions, including Refrigeration or Cooking subsystem, electronics, marketing and design
Support technical and innovation roadmaps
Contribute to the IP portfolio
Support and coach other team members in technical related subjects as needed
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related technical field
Demonstrated technology acumen - skill and knowledge in mechatronics and/and at least one of the following: electro-mechanics, sensors, actuators, electronics, control systems, power electronics, advanced materials, thermophysics and cooling technologies
Experience prototyping from early stages to functional solutions
Fluency in English (Written and Verbal)
Preferred Requirements
Experience within the of industry experience developing consumer goods products
Invention, problem solving, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a simple way
Hunger and proven ability to learn new technical and non-technical approaches and use data to drive and make decisions
Track record of creative problem solving and disrupting the status quo by pushing for better ways to create new ideas
Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
Experience and working knowledge of Refrigeration or Cooking systems, food science, thermal dynamics, sensors and/or control systems
Experience with globally diverse teams
Strong independence: capable of working autonomously with limited guidance
Proficient in Lean Product Development, Six Sigma, Project Management and Systems Engineering concepts and tools
