QAT Global, a US-based IT consulting firm with over 30 years of experience, is looking for a Senior Cloud Native Developer to join our growing team. We are proud to deliver world-class technology solutions with teams across the US, Costa Rica, and Brazil. This is a full-time, remote position (CLT hire in Brazil only), offering the opportunity to collaborate directly with our US-based client and international development teams. About the role: As a Senior Cloud Native Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native applications using Azure and .NET technologies. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to implement high-quality software solutions that follow modern engineering practices. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in Azure cloud services, microservices, and backend development, combined with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure services, .NET Core, and C#. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure smooth and automated deployments. Define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Pulumi. Develop microservices and event-driven architectures leveraging Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Cosmos DB. Build and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. Collaborate closely with architects, QA, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Apply best practices for monitoring, logging, and application performance management. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications: Strong experience in software development with .NET Core and C#. Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Cosmos DB. Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts, including hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi, Terraform, or similar frameworks. Experience building and managing containers (Docker) and working with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes). Strong understanding of software design principles, clean code, and best engineering practices. Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively in distributed, cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms. Familiarity with Application Insights, Grafana, or other monitoring tools. Understanding of MuleSoft or similar integration platforms. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
