We're seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned QA professional who can drive quality and efficiency in software development. Key Responsibilities: Translate business processes into testable scenarios: Utilize product/domain knowledge to create high-value test cases and acceptance criteria. Design and execute comprehensive test suites: Develop and maintain manual and automated tests (UI, API, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory) using C# frameworks like Playwright or Selenium WebDriver. Build .NET automation frameworks: Create and maintain SOLID and POM-compliant test automation frameworks for .NET applications. Enable CI/CD quality gates: Integrate automated tests into pipelines with parallel runs, test reporting, and flaky-test management using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Collaborate across disciplines: Work with Product Owners to refine acceptance criteria, with Developers to shift-left quality, and with business users to validate in staging/preproduction environments and in production once deployed. Own defect lifecycle: Identify, document, prioritize, and drive resolution of defects with clear reproduction steps, logs, screenshots, and impact. Data & API validation: Test APIs, validate payloads and contracts via Swagger/OpenAPI, and verify database outcomes using SQL Server. Non-functional checks: Contribute to performance baselines using k6 or JMeter, and security test coordination. Test strategy & traceability: Maintain risk-based test plans, coverage maps, and traceability to requirements/ACs. Mentor & improve: Share best practices, pair on tests, and improve standards for reliability, maintainability, and observability of tests. Requirements: Significant experience in software quality assurance, including extensive manual testing and test case design. Proficiency in building and maintaining automated tests in .NET (C#) for UI and/or API layers. Strong understanding of .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET (MVC/Web API) fundamentals, and JSON. Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright, plus NUnit/xUnit/MSTest; experience. Comfortable reading application code, using Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code, debugging tests, and collaborating on testability. Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control, boards/issues, and CI/CD pipelines.
