Cloud Engineer About the opportunity: At Avenue Code, we are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using industry-leading technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Postgres, and Terraform. Key Responsibilities: Participate in automating infrastructure provisioning and managing containerized applications Maintain CI/CD workflows to ensure smooth and scalable deployments Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 4-6 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar role Experience with cloud provider platforms such as AWS or GCP Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) Familiarity with Kubernetes Experience with GitOps CI/CD tools (e.g., Harness, Argo, Flux,Jenkins) Familiarity with declarative infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g.,Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) Exposure to logging, monitoring, metrics collection, and observability tools (e.g., DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch) Nice to Have The following skills would be beneficial: Experience with software development and automation in languages beyond shell scripting (e.g., golang, python, elixir,java, etc.) Experience with platform development of tools for development, staging, and integration environments Experience with debugging performance or networking issues in applications running on Kubernetes Experience with audit compliance (e.g., SOX, SOC2, ISO27001, PCI DSS) Working knowledge of UNIX-based Operating Systems
