Risk Management Expertise Sought Job Description The role of Risk Management Officer is a high-level position that requires an expert to design and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks across various business functions. This includes credit, market, liquidity, operational, and technology risks. Conduct thorough assessments of prudential and capital risks, incorporating stress testing, scenario analysis, and capital adequacy evaluations to inform strategic decisions. Support the development of regulatory disclosures for virtual asset service providers (VASPs) and financial institutions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Oversee Margin-Account Operations, including policy development on margin lending and virtual asset collateral, setting and reviewing loan-to-value ratios, monitoring collateral valuation and capital add-ons, and ensuring adherence to client limits and capital requirements. Review and monitor key risk indicators, escalating material breaches or deviations to senior management and the Board for timely intervention. The successful candidate will maintain independence from commercial and trading lines while fostering collaboration with Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams. They will also engage with internal and external auditors, regulators, and governance committees on risk management and capital matters, promoting a risk-aware culture through training, communication, and continuous improvement of risk methodologies.
