About Our Opportunity You are a skilled professional who will act as the interface between our Analytics and Engineering teams. We require you to rationalize all data requests and design ideal solutions to meet business needs. Responsibilities include executing new data flow, maintaining existing data flow daily, and designing robust data pipelines that can cater to various use-cases with minimal incremental effort. You will proactively drive the vision for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing across the organization, define a plan to achieve this vision, and execute it. Evolving analytical data ecosystems is also an essential aspect of this role, including big data analysis. Key Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics and data engineering At least 1 year of experience with hadoop, hive, spark, or other big data processing systems Expertise in SQL is mandatory Ability to lead time-sensitive strategic projects involving methodology development, analysis, recommendations, and presentation of findings PREFERRED SKILLS - Advantageous Requirements: Degree in a STEM field (engineering, computer science, mathematics, etc.) Experience with BI tools such as microstrategy, tableau, looker, etc. Knowledge of Unix shell scripting and python programming languages Database performance tuning skills are desirable
