Master Data Architect As a key member of the data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data architectures to efficiently handle large volumes of data. You will develop robust data ingestion pipelines and integration processes, ensuring seamless transfer of data from various sources into our centralized data repository. Key responsibilities include: Designing and implementing efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms leveraging cloud services such as AWS S3, Athena, Redshift, or DynamoDB. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and design appropriate data models and schemas in our data lake. Developing and deploying data transformation and enrichment processes using serverless technologies like AWS Lambda or Glue. Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data validation, error handling, and logging mechanisms. Maintaining and optimizing data infrastructure to meet changing business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working as a data architect, with a strong focus on designing scalable data solutions, as well as expertise in cloud computing, programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala, and data processing frameworks like Apache Spark. Additional responsibilities may include: Participating in agile development methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data products. Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning models.
