Are you looking for a challenging role that will put your skills to the test? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled backend engineer to join our high-impact engineering team. About the Role: Role: Software Engineer III Location: São Paulo, SP – On-site role Duration: 6 months Build and enhance backend features end to end: requirements, implementation, automated testing, A/B testing, and launch validation. Collaborate with product, design, and client teams to deliver complete functionality. Develop reliable, maintainable backend components used by other engineers. Work on large-scale, distributed, and data-intensive systems. What We're Looking For 5+ years of backend engineering experience. Strong Java backend skills (REST APIs, caching, storage, data processing). Hands-on Big Data experience: Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce (active migration from MR → Spark). Strong understanding of distributed systems and data-intensive architectures. Experience with automated testing and clean, maintainable code. Excellent communication skills—ability to explain architecture and product impact clearly. Experience in consumer apps, social media, or large-scale platforms (not financial systems). Plus: Power BI or other analytics/data tooling. Ability to communicate clearly in English (fluent required) and collaborate effectively across global teams.
