Indirect Tax Manager Position We are seeking an experienced professional to support our tax compliance and audit activities in Brazil. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Brazilian tax legislation, excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities: The management of indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning, ensuring adherence to current regulations and optimization of the tax burden; Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, etc. Monitor tax compliance processes and work closely with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met. Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, including coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities. Analyze changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred. Experience in indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning is essential. Knowledge in Tax reform is beneficial. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders are crucial. Languages: Fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency). Fluent in English (written & spoken) – must interact with global teams effectively.
