Job Title: Technical Support Specialist We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support for critical trading and investment applications. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing Level 2 support to trading and investment platforms, resolving complex incidents in production Performing root cause analyses and implementing definitive fixes, in partnership with development teams Monitoring application performance and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement The ideal candidate will have experience in application support or software development, proficiency in Java (Spring, multithreading, REST APIs), advanced SQL proficiency (query optimization, stored procedures), knowledge of Linux/Unix scripting and shell scripts. Bonus Points: Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka/MQ) , Knowledge of FIX protocol/markets data feeds, Hiring Manager prioritizes candidates who can deliver excellent problem-solving skills communicating ideas effectively while maintaining stakeholder relationships.
