About the Opportunity As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an active hands-on contributor and influencer for our technical direction. Develop using interesting technologies like Elixir, Ruby, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB. Have input into design and architectural decisions that will shape the future of our software systems. Mentor, actively participate in code reviews, and pair up with a team member to work together on features. Key Skills/Experience: 7+ years of web application development experience with a track record of successfully shipping consumer or business-facing products. Experience in writing reliable and maintainable code, reusable components, and component libraries that may be used by many other engineers. Familiarity with common programming tools such as IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools. Familiarity with event-based architectures, database fundamentals, and GraphQL. Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
