Procurement Specialist

IT Procurement plays a critical role in supporting our business operations. Our team helps develop and implement effective procurement strategies to achieve strategic objectives and meet operational requirements. As a key member of the IT Procurement team, you will be responsible for procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies to support various business units. You will serve as the primary interface and process owner responsible for managing suppliers and internal customers. Job Description: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives. Manage inventory and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records. Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, and product range. Research and evaluate prospective suppliers to ensure optimal sourcing solutions. Negotiate and establish purchases for IT goods and services, ensuring high-quality products/supplies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders. Knowledge of commercial relationship build-up and procurement techniques/process is required. Experience in negotiations and networking is an added advantage.
