Software Engineer (Fintech Engineering)📍 Location: São Paulo, Brazil (Onsite Tue–Thu)⏱️ Duration: 6 months (contract with extension potential)💰 Compensation: R$25,000 per month What You’ll Do Design, develop, test, and support scalable applications serving Finance and Tax teams globally. Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and internal/external UI portals. Integrate with ERP and financial systems to ensure seamless data flow and compliance. Collaborate with global engineering, product, and business teams to align on design, architecture, and delivery. Ensure system reliability through proper QA, testing, and post-launch support. What We’re Looking For 6–8 years of experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer , ideally with a strong backend focus . Proficiency in Java and Python (core languages used in production systems). Strong knowledge of Relational Databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL). Experience in building RESTful APIs and developing UI portals . Familiarity with on-premise or SaaS ERP applications (Workday or Oracle; Workday Studio experience a plus). Understanding of financial systems or tax domain applications . Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies (2-week sprints). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail. Ability to communicate clearly in English (fluent required) and collaborate effectively across global teams.
